Don't hate it, just debate it.Express your freedom of speech with a new saying or slogan it is an onstage event consisting of prelims and finals where participants have to speak for a minute in prelims,then selected participants have to debate among themselves.
1. the event consists of an onstage extempore competition. Every participant will be given a topic to speak on.
2. total time allotted for speaking is 45 seconds.
3. two bells will be rung at the end of 30 seconds and 45 seconds.
4. finalists will be shortlisted on the basis of their creative thinking and wit.
VOLTORB is an interview round of the best performers in all the events of the ACUMEN 2019. Five candidates will be chosen from all the participants on the basis of their performance during two days and they will have to go through an interview round for the post of system Analyst.
♦ There is No Rules for This Event.
The only hurdle between you and victory will be the callibre of your conditional statements.This is an event that challenges your coding expertise to the extreme. It is a coding event where a correct code which has no wrong submission matters for chance to conquer the leaderboard.

♦ Only registered participants can take part in this online event.
♦ Participants involving in any malpractices will be disqualified.
♦ The event will be held on 09th November.
♦ You will be given a total time of one hour and for each wrong submission few minutes will be deducted from the total time. So, you have to defend your time.
Prelims:-
It will be a coding test where you will be tested with basic programming skills in C/C++.
Finals:-
Shortlisted teams will be having a computer-based test where you will face complex problems.
If you fancy yourself to be one of them,then participate to begin your march towards ultimate glory. It is an offstage event of team of two, where some coding questions will be given and participants have to find the bug and then replace that one with correct one.

♦ No contestant can be a member of more than one team.
♦ No Registration is Required.
♦ Teams involving in any malpractices will be disqualified.
♦ You have to Debug a given code so that it can work for all the test cases.

Pixelate is a photography event to showcase your talent.For some people it is hobby and for some it is their passion.This event gives you an opportunity to seperate yourself from the mundane and show your artistry.
1.Participants will be provided with one
Theme(Overview of NITT). Best photo will be declared as winner.
2. Photos must be on manual mode and clicked on manual focus mode.
3. Exposure triangle criteria must be followed.
4. Only .raw and .jpg formats are allowed.
5. Basic editing can be done using lightroom. Photoshop not allowed.
6. You need to send both edited and unedited photos.
How to submit:
1. Send one-one best photo on each theme(original + edited + raw) followed by above rules with the note containing.
2. Name of the Student.
3. Caption.

It is a offline Event consist of two rounds, prelims and mains. In the Prelims,among the group of four(can make by their own interest) one set of question paper will be given containing 30 Questions related to marketing,advertisement, and brands etc. Based on the result of the first round, some teams will be selected for the "mains" and would be given some topics(one to each team) to present as a presentation on the next day.
♦ No malicious activity should be entertained during the event.
♦ One who caught in such, will be considered as DISQUALIFIED.
